Frequently Asked Questions:

Things you need to know before you go!

* Do I need a passport to travel?

Travelbugs, LLC strongly recommends that you visit the US Department of State to find out the current   passport and visa requirements for your destination.

If you already have a passport, now is a good time to check the expiration date on it.  Travelbugs, LLC recommends that your passport be valid for six (6) months beyond your intended travel dates.

* What are the current carry-on baggage restrictions on a flight?

* I've been hearing a lot about airline "baggage fees" lately?  What are they?

Air travel has changed a lot in recent years.  One of the biggest changes has been with  the baggage allowances that each passenger is allowed to bring on a flight.  In the good old days, you could bring two (2) checked bags, free of charge!  Now, each airline has specific baggage allowances, depending on your destination, and depending on the weight of your bags.

Since these allowances are continually being updated and revised, your friends at Travelbugs, LLC recommend that you check the web page of your specific airlne.  Below are the links for some common domestic airlines to help simplify your search:

American Airlines                    Continental Airlines                 Delta Airlines                 United Airlines

                US Airways                       AirTran              Southwest Airlines
